British wool is a byproduct. As it is a natural product it is biodegradable at end of life. We source from local farms to reduce carbon emissions associated with transport. 100% cotton (from the cover) is also a natural material & is also biodegradable at end of life (exclusive of trimmings).

Please note our British wool is double washed however it does retain a very mild wool smell that fades over time.
