We have put together some tips from existing CPAP/ BIPAP users:
never give up cpap therapy
#1 Never give up – keep persisting.
#2 If in doubt refer to #1.
#3 If you are having a hard time getting started wear your mask without the hose before you are ready to go to bed. This will help you get used to the feeling of the mask.
#4 Try to have a good relationship with sleep clinic medical providers or wherever you get your equipment, I know it’s not always possible but if you have one person who knows what they are talking about it can help you get the right mask / machine for you…

#5 … And on that note. No one mask fits all. There are hundreds of different masks on the market offering a wide range of different features. Read reviews of what works for people but keep in mind that people have differently shaped faces and so one mask doesn’t fit all.
#6 There are many machine / hose accessories available to make using your mask more comfortable including; mask liners, hose protectors to stop condensation and rainout within the hose and CPAP pillows.
